Marie & Kaleb - Orcutt Ranch, West Hills (The Valley), CA
Marie and Kaleb are both writers with very independent, DIY, low-key personalities. They wanted a wedding that would be as quick, simple, and low-stress as possible. Marie loves flowers, so their biggest excess was to have gorgeous flowers spread throughout the property. They eschewed as much formality as possible, leaving us with a stripped-down wedding that focused on their family, friends, and the incredible love that they share. One of my favorite weddings to-date :)
Marie has such an eye for florals! And her bridal hair was an otherworldly hue of blue!
One of the cool things about Orcutt Ranch is that it has all these little hidden spots throughout its grounds; hideaway slices of gardens and orchards that make fantastic backdrops for photos.
Lots of other lovely little details:
We had a whole separate day at Orcutt Ranch just for bridal portraits about a month before the wedding, which was an awesome idea. We got to explore the grounds, do a hair and makeup trial, and get to know each other, all in one day. Since their ceremony day was so quick and filled with family conversations, I’m glad we had this time together to take in the lovely gardens there.
