Sara and Andrew had a lovely small ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. I loved this wedding — it was so intimate, personal, and although it was small, it was clear they had paid a lot of attention to the smallest details. This wedding was clean, minimal, elegant, while also being down-to-earth. It was bright and sunny, but it was also windy; the wind and bright sunshine worried some attendees, but I reassured them that I’d shoot my way around it. I actually like it when small obstacles pop up, as it allows me to think outside the box and reframe shots to get something even more unique than your average wedding photos. For me, I found that the sunshine made everything more vibrant, and the wind made dresses and veils float in the air… a perfect dreamy scenario. No fans needed.
